The National Society
for Epilepsy is committed to providing information and support
to people with epilepsy, their families, friends and professionals involved
in their care. We also aim to raise awareness of epilepsy among the general
public.
In addition, we provide
care for people with epilepsy through medical, residential and rehabilitation
services.
So what can we do
to help you?
- We have a confidential
UK epilepsy helpline, which offers information and listening support.
If you would like to talk about any aspect of epilepsy, you can phone
on 01494 601400 between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
- The forum provides
a way of sharing experiences with other people who are affected by epilepsy.

- Our leaflets,
books and videos provide up-to-date information about epilepsy. If you
are in the UK you can order them in our online shop - a limited number
are free of charge. Visit

- Our network of
trained volunteers provides epilepsy information in clinics
and hospitals throughout England.
- Our membership
scheme helps you to keep up with the latest medical research and epilepsy
information. Members receive our magazine, access to new information
leaflets and invitations to events where you can hear about epilepsy
from the experts. Become

- We run epilepsy
awareness training for employers, schools, residential care staff, and
